A Traditional Homecoming Mum VS A Themed Homecoming Mum

​Traditional Mums & Garters: Are Basic homecoming mums/garters that include the school's colors, school's mascot, and school spirit related items. These are the mums that are more commonly seen.
Traditional Senior Mums are usually all white in colors with silver or gold colors depending on the schools colors. Such as if the schools have white or grey in their school colors then silver would be the color for them with all white and if the school has yellow or gold in their colors then gold would be the color for them. Some seniors mums can also include pops of the schools colors or even pops of colors of their own choice of any color.
Themed Mums & Garters: Are non-traditional that can be any color, any style, any items. Popular with seniors who want to go all out with their favorite things and elementary students who don't really understand the homecoming mum/garter tradition. The little kids especially love having their favorite things on it. Themed mums are completely revolved around whatever theme is chosen. They still include any sports, names, activities, clubs, etc. that you would want on it just in the theme colors rather than school colors. This allows for more personal customization and makes the it more of a one-of-a-kind mum/garter.
