The sooner, the better! Spots fill up quickly every season. For standard mums and garters, please order at least 2 weeks in advance. For themed mums, I require a minimum of 4 weeks to source special materials. Rush orders may be accepted with an added fee if my schedule allows.

Yes! If you order early, you can secure a spot with a 30% non-refundable deposit and make payments.
Final payment is due 2 weeks before your homecoming date.

🚗 Do you ship mums or garters?

No, Annie’s Mums is local pickup/meet-up only to keep your order safe and beautiful. See my Policy page and my Terms and Conditions page for exact distances I am willing to meet.

⏰ Do you accept last-minute orders?
Sometimes! If my schedule allows, I may be able to take a last-minute order with a rush fee. Availability depends on the time of season and materials on hand, so it’s always best to order as early as possible to secure your spot.

🎨 Can I send you a picture to copy?

You can send inspiration photos to show your style, but I don’t copy other makers’ work or even repeat my own designs exactly.

📸 Do you send progress photos?

Yes I do! I do so to ensure that everything is correct and accurate during the creation process.

🏈 Do you make themed mums?

Yes! Themed mums are my specialty. They require 4 weeks’ notice plus an extra fee to cover special materials. Popular themes include sports, hobbies, characters, and mascots.

🔔 Do you put bells on the mums?

Yes! All mums include bells unless you specifically request otherwise.
If noise is a concern and you forget to mention it, you can always tape the bells down after pickup.

💳 What payment methods do you accept?

I accept Venmo, Cash App, and PayPal. Full payment is required upfront unless you do a payment plan.​

📷 Do you use filters or edit your photos?

No filters, no heavy editing! The photos you see are true to color and design. Colors may vary based on light as I use flash sometimes and I use a ring light sometimes and other times it is just whatever lighting I currently have in my room at the time. I have been told that mums look smaller in pictures than in person, that is because cameras can’t capture their full depth and length, but every photo reflects the real product.​

💔 What if my homecoming date cancels?
Each situation is handled on a case-by-case basis. Because mums and garters are custom-made, refunds aren’t guaranteed. I typically remove the name so it can be gifted to someone else. If time allows, there could be a possibility of switching the mum to a garter (or vice versa). Contact me as soon as possible so we can discuss the best option for your order.

👗 How do you attach or wear a mum or garter?

• Mums: Every mum, no matter the size, includes a soft satin necklace piece so it can be worn comfortably around the neck. This keeps it secure while you show off your homecoming spirit.

• Garters: All garters include an adjustable garter band made from a bandana. You simply tie it around your arm for a perfect fit, no matter the size!

💡 Annie’s Tip: Have a friend help you tie or adjust your mum or garter so it sits perfectly before photos!

🔥 Can I leave my mum in the car?

It’s not recommended! Texas heat can get extremely high, and materials like glue, ribbon, and embellishments can warp, loosen, or even melt in a hot vehicle.

✅ To keep your mum looking perfect:

• Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.

• Avoid leaving it in the car for long periods.

🎀 Annie’s Tip: If you have to transport it, lay it flat and bring it inside as soon as possible to avoid heat and humidity damage.

🌧️ How do I protect my mum from rain or bad weather?

Every mum and garter is delivered on a clothes hanger and inside a dry-cleaning bag to help protect against water and light weather elements.

✅ For extra protection:

• Keep your mum in the bag until you’re indoors or under cover.

• Avoid leaving it outside where it can get wet.

🛍️ What if I change my mind after ordering?
Because every mum and garter is custom-made, I can’t offer refunds or cancellations for buyer’s remorse. Full payment is due upfront, or for early orders, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required with payment plan options. Be sure to double-check your colors and details before confirming your order. I’m always happy to answer questions before you order!
